6. Okja Is A Classic Movie Creature
It's hard to deny that the titular "super pig" is an extremely cute and charming creation, brought to convincing life with impressive visual effects and forming a palpable bond with farmgirl protagonist Mija.

Though Okja can't speak, she manages to say plenty with her actions, and the human-creature bond ultimately doesn't feel that dissimilar from Steven Spielberg's brilliantly heart-warming E.T.
Over the course of two hours, Joon-ho makes it easy to care about Okja and her well-being as the malevolent Mirando Corporation attempts to take custody of her, and as such she's easily one of the most memorable and easy-to-root-for movie creatures in recent memory.
