3. The Absolutely INSANE Ending

No spoilers here, of course, but the third act of this movie sure is something alright.

Though easily the most divisive aspect of the film among critics and fans alike, the finale is doubly tense, both for the audience's awareness of what happened to Sharon Tate and her friends in real life, and wondering how Tarantino will decide to engage with it.

The result isn't particularly surprising all things considered, but it is extremely entertaining, offering up a twisted distortion of real life that's best left totally un-spoiled.

It certainly ends the film on a bang, at least, and while some might feel that Tarantino could've gone smarter or more subversive, what we get is still one hell of a memorable climax.
