The shortlist of seven has been revealed, with surprising omissions including Jackie, Silence, and Hacksaw Ridge. Following on from last year's nod for The 100-Year-OId Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And Disappeared, the Academy may once again give Love Larson and Eva Von Bahr some love, this time for Swedish film A Man Called Ove. Other contenders include blockbuster fare such as Star Trek Beyond and Suicide Squad, as well as Florence Foster Jenkins, Hail, Caesar!, The Dressmaker, and Deadpool.
