3. Actress In A Leading Role

Aka just give Frances McDormand the award now.

Outside McDormand, who has been sweeping up and even gets praise from those slating the film, another three of the nominations look pretty much locked, with Saoirse Ronan, Sally Hawkins, and Margot Robbie garnering lots of praise and attention. The fifth spot is up for grabs though: Meryl Streep is the easy pick, Judi Dench has the SAG nomination (albeit for 'roll', not 'role'), and Jessica Chastain is the most deserving.
