9. Trevor Noah's Hilarious Mel Gibson Joke

Trevor Noah hit the stage to introduce Black Panther, and true to form, he left the crowd reeling with one especially savage gag about Hollywood's favourite racist, Mel Gibson.

Noah talked about how people are constantly coming up to him and quoting "Wakanda forever!", and added, "Even backstage, Mel Gibson came up to me and was like, 'Wakanda forever.' He said another word after that, but the 'Wakanda' part was nice."

We're gonna go out on the limb here and assume that Mel wasn't actually at the Oscars this year. Good going, Trev.
