15. Foreign-Language Film

Having been cut down to a shortlist of just nine movies, from a field of 87 submissions, the Foreign-Language race brings with it a number of critically-acclaimed movies that should help make this a stacked year.

Roma is a dead-cert, since it's competing higher-up the awards too. Japan's Shoplifters, Poland's Cold War, and Lebanon's Capernaum have all been racking up noms too, with the final spot likely a fight between South Korea's Burning and Germany's Never Look Away.
