The Place Where Lost Things Go

It feels like sacrilege to say anything other than Shallow here, but The Place Where Lost Things Go is worthy for not only how much of a thematic lynchpin it is in a superior film, but that it's a great song in its own right too. Wistfully sung by Emily Blunt, the lyrics retain a key sense of whimsy, and yet speak to the heart-aching sense of loss the permeates and underscores the entire movie.

Shallow

Could it possibly be anything else? This award has been A Star Is Born's since the movie released - maybe even before then - and it'd be the shock of the night if this didn't win. It's a great, authentic song the serves as the bridge for the two halves of the movie, it's the standout piece on the fantastic soundtrack, and it's the one song you can pretty much every voter has heard.
