Best Production Design is another category which skews heavily in the favour of period fare and classy blockbusters.

As such 1917, The Irishman, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood are damn-near guaranteed nominations, while the two remaining slots are certainly up for grabs.

It's entirely possible a slew of films could sneak in here - Downton Abbey, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, The Two Popes, or even Motherless Brooklyn - but one suspects the general popularity of Joker and Parasite will push them over the top.
