Pennywise: New Stephen King Documentary Telling IT's Story Coming

It's almost time to clown about in the worst way. First we've got the remake of seminal horror mini-series IT coming in September and now there's a new documentary documented to cinema's most famous clown in the works as well.

An official documentary called Pennywise: The Story Of IT is coming and Tim Curry himself is involved. It's coming courtesy of the makers of Pet Sematary doc, Unearth and Untold: The Path To Pet Sematary, and You’re So Cool Brewster: The Story of Fright Night, Dead Mouse Productions. It goes without saying that they know how to make horror documentaries, so this is definitely one to add to your watch list.

A Stephen King's It fanpage has also just leaked the first look at the iconic drain scene from the forthcoming remake, which comes courtesy of the next issue of Empire and which looks wholly as terrifying as it should...

Bill Skarsgard has some pretty big clown shoes to fill, but the more we see of his look as Pennywise the more horrifying - and crucially different - he looks. Let's hope the rest of the production lives up to these early looks.
