Pixar's Ratatouille One-Sheet Poster

By Matt Holmes /

Did this summer's Cars mark the end of the "event" like status that comes around when a Disney/Pixar movie is released? Sure the movie did very well at the box office and was well recieved by critcs but it didn't quite seem to have the magic of the other movies from where I'm sitting. That's a judgment from somebody who hasn't seen the flick yet mind you but that was just the general feeling I got from the trailers and word of mouth. It was a good movie just wasn't great like Toy Story, Monsters Inc. or The Incredibles. Next Summer comes the eigth Disney/Pixar collaboration Ratatouille which is based around rats and is directed by the genius that is Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles). AICN have got the scoop on a one-sheet poster for the movie which you can see a larger version of by clicking here. It will be interesting to see how Ratatouille performs next summer, as it should show the general direction of Pixar's future. With all the animation movies that are constantly being produced, it seems to me that it has watered down the magic feeling of when a Disney/Pixar movie gets released, which is kind of sad because they are the best in the business at what they do. source - aintitcoolnews
