This Christmas sees the theatrical release of Alcon Entertainment's fast paced and adrenalin fuelled Point Break. Based on a screenplay of the book written under the same name by Kurt Wimmer, and featuring top athletes from around the world of extreme sport, the films tells the story of young FBI agent Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) as he goes undercover to infiltrate a rather unique criminal gang. Convinced that a group of elite athletes is responsible for a recent spate of daring and unprecedentedly high octane heists, the bureau have sent Johnny to get close and uncover the truth. Featuring death defying stunts from real life athletes and professionals in their respective sports Point Break is laden with awe inspiring stunts and set pieces from the world of big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snow boarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling. With performances from true stars of extreme sport such as Laird Hamilton, Xavier De Le Rue, Bob Burnquist, Riley Harper, Jon Devore, and Chris Sharma, are an established cast of actors. This includes Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, November Man) as Johnny Utah, Ray Winstone (Noah, The Departed), and Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) to name only 3. The whole thing is being overseen by an experienced team of directors and producers who individually have worked on films such as The Fast And The Furious, Thelma & Louise, and White House Down.
