I'm surprised with how little fanfare Pixar turning 25 years old has received across the web today. I mean I get it, I will turn 25 a little later this year and I understand how it works when you hit your mid 20's - the £10's from relatives all but disappear and the fuss over being 1 year older starts to turn to the worry of being 12 months closer to death! Unlike me though, thankfully, by the power of cinema - Pixar will live forever and the unbelievable, near-perfect run of 11 astonishing films (barring Cars, sorry!) films will be preserved for all time. But with so many great movies, which do our OWF readers rank as the very best from the Pixar oeuvre? It's a toughy right? There's the nostalgia and the innovation of the Toy Story franchise (and choosing the best film from that trilogy is hard enough!), the depth of emotion and mature storytelling of Up, the awe inspiring wonder and imagination of Wall*E, the love letter to superheroes with The Incredibles, the universe and characters of Monster's Inc! Wow. Personally, after way to much time deliberating this pondery, I went back to the beginning and Toy Story. But how about you?
