Predator: 15 Most WTF Franchise Moments (So Far)
1. Children & Pregnant Women Get Chest-Bursted (Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem)
AvP2 does deserve a mild measure of credit for its utterly shocking, unsentimental approach to killing off its characters.
This is a movie that sees a young boy get impregnanted by a Facehugger in its first five minutes, and not only is he chest-bursted later on, but his remains are then dissolved by a Predator, ensuring the family will never get proper closure.
But it gets much, much worse.
In the third act, a pregnant woman due to give birth is attacked by the Predalien, becoming impregnated with several Xenomorph embryos, which subsequently burst out of her stomach in nauseating fashion. That poor, poor baby.
Requiem may be a terrible movie all things considered, but these shocking death scenes certainly made plentiful use of that precious R rating.
