As much as the Internet has had a field day ripping the recent Aladdin trailer to shreds, the general public doesn't care anywhere near as much about janky CGI, and are sure to flock to Aladdin in droves on the basis of brand identity alone.

Though the online hatred will certainly dent its overall commercial picture somewhat - a billion dollars is probably off the table now - it'll still deliver a solid return-on-investment despite the estimated $200 million budget.

Like Dumbo, it's basically critic-proof with the mainstream, and there's virtually zero chance it doesn't perform well across the world.
