The world apparently may not be ready for a live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie, but it'll still be fun to see the new Spidey get his own animated film, especially with The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street's terrific Phil Lord and Christopher Miller having written the screenplay.
The voice cast is already shaping up nicely, with Dope's Shameik Moore playing Morales, while Liev Schreiber is the Green Goblin and Mahershala Ali plays Morales' uncle Aaron Davis.
Lord and Miller's experience in the animated realm should make this an easy success, and could very well open up a whole new avenue for Spider-Man adventures at the cinema.
