Predicted Critical Consensus: "Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin make Deadpool 2 a suitably entertaining two-hander, even if the returns on its humour, thrills and sheer shock factor are a little more diminished the second time."

After last year's Deadpool was such a much-needed breath of fresh air, it's probably reasonable to expect a follow-up that isn't quite so snappy with its humour and generally brazen appeal.

Expect a lot of praise for Josh Brolin's performance as Cable, and Ryan Reynolds will surely deliver the goods once again, but it'll be slightly down on the previous movie's impressive 84% Tomatometer.
