8. If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It

This Easter egg is probably the easiest to spot, which happens when Naru and her brother, Taabe are captured by French trappers and are used as bait for the Predator. Our heroine feels unsure whether the creature can be stopped, but her brother reassures her with the iconic line, "If it bleeds, we can kill it".

This phrase is one of the most famous lines of dialogue from 1987's original Predator picture, and was initially delivered by Arnold Schwarzenegger's Dutch. Though other pieces of dialogue were referenced in the previous sequels, this one only made its first return in Prey.

Thankfully, the use of the line serves as an inspirational moment in the film and affirms the bond between the Comanche brother and sister. Dakota Beavers, in his first movie role, pulls off the phrase without making it sound ham-fisted or forced. At the same time, "If it bleeds, we can kill it", is the only line in Predator that can be referenced anyway due to the time period.

Also, the lack of "Ugly motherf**ker" and "Get to the chopper" is probably for the best.
