20. Nine Lives

Box Office: Made for an incredulous $30 million (likely going largely to its stars' paychecks), Nine Lives fell below financial expectations and to date still hasn't quite clawed back its price tag yet. A failure worth cheering, then.

Verdict: Let's face it: nobody expected this "Kevin Spacey gets turned into a cat" movie to score above 10% on the Tomatometer, and it duly lives down to those expectations.

Spacey is phoning it in as an icky Donald Trump-type, Christopher Walken shows up briefly for an easy paycheck, and the film's tone shifts dramatically as suicide becomes a plot-point later on.

It's all kinds of wrong and, short of something truly diabolical coming down the pike over the next four months, it's got the Worst Picture Razzie award basically sewn up. Terrible.
