RottenTomatoes Score: 99% (8.8) Box Office: Budgetary information isn't currently available, but with a surprisingly strong UK VOD rollout, the movie's grosses have totaled an impressive $6.6 million worldwide, ensuring it's a solid indie success. Verdict: Andrew Haigh's (Weekend) latest film is a masterful exercise in subtlety, as an elderly couple (Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay) discover something which changes the context of their entire, 45-year marriage. Rather than defer to over-the-top screaming matches, Haigh instead focuses tight on the passive-aggression and loaded glances which suggest a partnership possibly crumbling at the foundations. Rampling and Courtenay give two of the best, most restrained performances of both the year and their respective careers in a movie that might be too quiet and slow for some, but it's an extremely involving and fascinating film all the same.
