40. Incubus - Alain Chanoine (Suicide Squad)

Incredibly, rather than using the Joker as the main villain, or even Common's implied version of Tattoo Man (or even just anyone with some sympathetic humanity about them), Suicide Squad director David Ayer chose instead to turn on the CGI. Too much.

The first big bad of the sloppy film is a mess of effects (on a par with The Scorpion King) and no heart who stalks around with Ghostbusters-lite tentacles looking ridiculous and never once convincing he's up to the billing.

The idea of him isn't too bad, but almost everything about the execution - from finding a random host in the public toilets of a subway station to being blown up by a bomb - is deeply flawed.

If there's a sequel this is the least thing that has to change.
