Ranking Every Disney Animated Movie From Worst To Best!

Several weeks spent watching every Disney animated movie... all for this list.

No company is more synonymous with animated films than Walt Disney Animation Studios. Their films have defined childhoods for over eight decades now, and with Disney Corporation slowly but surely taking over the entire world, they show positively zero signs of stopping.

There are, as of this writing, a total of 60 movies in the Disney animated canon. Over the last several months, I have been watching, re-watching, and taking notes on these movies so that I could arrange them into this list. And finally, after several rewrites and rearrangements, I've finally finished it.

But before I begin, I would like to bring attention to a few movies that that've been excluded, those being Fantasia, Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun And Fancy Free, Melody Time, and Fantasia 2000. The main reason for their exclusion is that they're harder to define as “movies”; they’re more like animation montages set to music. Plus, they'd probably just hog up the bottom parts of the list anyway, so sorry if any of those six movies are your favorite, but they’re not going to be included here!

Also, these rankings are based on personal enjoyment and quality today, not on overall impact.

53. Home On The Range (2004)

Walt Disney Animation Studios is synonymous with imaginative, fun, and thought-provoking animated adventures. Surely, they couldn't make something truly awful; they could only make something comparatively bad, right?

Nope. Home on the Range is genuinely terrible.

This whole film is basically just a mishmash of rushed plot points, forced humor, cringey farm puns, bad slapstick, bland music, dated pop culture references, and everybody’s favorite…fat jokes, fart jokes, and burp jokes.

I am a worse person for having watched this nonsense.
