27. Hook Through The Head (Roy Carlson - Final Destination 5)
Though there's a few decent misdirects here - namely Roy (Brent Stait) wearing a hard hat - this hook impalement death is pretty ordinary fare, and disappointingly restrained given that we don't actually get to see the moment of impact.
The brief glimpse of the hook driving further into Roy's head and the accompanying blood spurt are pretty neat, though.
26. Obliterated By Flying Tire (Nadia Monroy - The Final Destination)
One of the best deaths in the fourth movie is a winning combination of hilarious and gory. Moments after leaving the racetrack post-premonition, Nadia (Stephanie Honore) starts screaming at the group, only for a tire to come flying out of the arena and completely destroy her head.
Between the jolting shock factor, sheer cartoonish absurdity, and the impressive glimpse of practical gore we're given, this is a fun one.
