Ranking Every Final Destination Death From Worst To Best

21. Climactic Trainwreck (Wendy Christensen, Julie Christensen & Kevin Fischer - Final Destination 3)

New Line Cinema

Final Destination 3 decided to close the book on every single character who has survived Death's design up to this point, ending with a subway premonition sequence which heavily implied the impending deaths of protagonist Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), her sister Julie (Amanda Crew), and Kevin (Ryan Merriman).

In outrageously brutal fashion, Julie gets liquefied by a flying train wheel, and Kevin is reduced to red pulp when he's flung out the train window, being crushed between the train and the subway wall. Ouch.

Though we don't get to see Wendy's actual demise, it's pretty clear she gets squished by the incoming train, in a moment which would've served as a fitting finale to the entire series.

Where would be without the premonition that started them all?

Though relatively modest compared to the carnage in the sequel's premonitions, there's a more relatable quality to this absolute terrifying mid-air plane explosion, which is completely disturbing and not at all amusing - especially with the sight of Alex's face getting burned to a crisp.

Needless to say, airlines won't show this movie under any circumstances.
