Ranking Every Final Destination Death From Worst To Best

39. Actual Murder (Agent Jim Block - Final Destination 5)

New Line Cinema

The fifth - and to date, final - Final Destination movie introduced the idea that those who cheated death could murder somebody else in order to effectively inherit their intended remaining lifespan.

It was a neat if underused idea, essentially transforming Peter Friedkin (Miles Fisher) into a murderous third-act villain.

This leads to Peter shooting FBI Agent Jim Block (Courtney B. Vance) dead in cold blood, in what's perhaps the most uniform and boring death in the entire series - but still not the worst.

38. Hit By Ambulance (George Lanter - The Final Destination)

New Line Cinema

George Lanter (Mykelti Williamson) is one of the franchise's more likeable characters, so it's a shame that he was killed with a disposable flippancy, and more to the point, that his death was a lazy rehash from the first film.

After leaving the hospital, Lanter get run over and killed immediately by an ambulance of all things, in what's nothing more than a lame imitation of Terry's (Amanda Detmer) far more shocking death-by-bus from the first film.

Also, as with most of the deaths in the fourth film, the CGI sucks.
