43. All In Good Taste (1983)
Originally released in 1983, the only reason All in Good Taste is of interest to, well, anyone is because Carrey has a small role in it as naked cameraman Ralph Parker.
Once Carrey hit the big leagues, the film was re-released on home video in a shameless attempt to cash-in, plastering his face disproportionately over the VHS cover.
A glorified softcore skin-flick with a few jokes thrown in so it technically passes the qualifier of "movie," there's virtually nothing worthwhile on offer beyond the obvious titilation - and the fleeting amusement of Carrey's presence.
42. Dark Crimes (2016)
Distinguished as the only film in Jim Carrey's entire filmography to score a dreaded 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, Dark Crimes had plenty of potential on paper, to challenge Carrey with a role unlike any he'd ever played before - a Polish detective investigating a grisly murder.
Carrey tries his best, and certainly looks the part, but between the generic script and duller-than-dishwater direction, this is a self-consciously grim, brutally paced slog.
Considering the obvious appeal to cast Carrey so thoroughly against-type like this, he's left adrift in a film that isn't nearly worthy of his talents - or those of fellow cast members Marton Csokas and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
