Ranking Every Jim Carrey Movie Worst To Best

33. Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011)

20nth Century Fox

It's truly staggering that Mr. Popper's Penguins came out only a decade ago - this thing feels so aggressively early 2000s in its very core. And it pretty much delivers what it advertises on the tin - Jim Carrey goofing around with a bunch of penguins.

Carrey's go-for-broke presence ensures this isn't totally worthless, but it's also so aggressively family-friendly in its very core without any of the edge of Carrey's better comedy vehicles that it's so easily forgotten.

This isn't a film likely to leave anyone angry, but honestly, is it likely to leave anyone feeling much of anything at all?

32. Finders Keepers (1984)

Warner Bros.

This caper comedy from Superman II & III director Richard Lester is fine - a scam artist (Michael O'Keefe) gets the tables turned on him, resulting in a slew of harmless hijinks.

It's elevated by its ensemble cast - including Beverly D'Angelo, Brian Dennehy, and Ed Lauter - and Carrey shows up for a short-but-sweet extended cameo that brings a few giddy laughs.

There's not much here to stick in the memory for long, but it's serviceable fluff.
