Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best

69. The Wicker Man (2006)

Warner Bros.

While casual Cage observers might assume that 2006's remake of The Wicker Man is the de facto worst film he's ever made, that's totally far from the truth.

As much of an artistic failure as it might be, Neil LaBute's Wicker Man is in the very least a stage on which Cage was able to showcase some of his most off-kilter, unrestrained performance art.

Whether you believe Cage is in on the joke or not, nobody will ever call the end result boring.

68. Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance (2011)

Columbia

Though technically worse than the original Ghost Rider in basically every way, there is an enticing punk-rock scuzziness to this sequel directed by Crank filmmakers Neveldine/Taylor.

With the pair throwing every mad-eyed idea at the screen and seemingly letting Cage do whatever the hell he wants, what Spirit of Vengeance lacks in coherence it somewhat compensates for with its go-for-broke insanity.
