Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best

83. Trespass (2011)

Millennium Entertainment

One of the worst movies of the late, great Joel Schumacher's career, Trespass took the appealing hook of a home invasion movie starring Cage, Nicole Kidman, and Ben Mendelsohn and churned out totally forgettable, low-effort slop.

The characters do head-smackingly stupid things, there's virtually no tension, and even Cage seems pretty tired and sluggish. This could've been fun trash, but instead it's a whole lotta nothing.

82. Rage (2014)

Image Entertainment

Shot under the title "Tokarev" before everyone realised how horribly unmarketable it was, Rage is a garden variety straight-to-video revenge thriller, albeit one which at least grants Cage a few moments to let his freak flag fly.

The infamous "raaaaat!" scene is worth watching, but beyond those 70 beautiful seconds of inspired insanity, there's little here worth remembering. At least the likes of Peter Stormare and Danny Glover add some welcome spice to the supporting cast.
