A Coens movie releasing in February?! What a world! The film might be a somewhat difficult sale for mainstream popcorn-chugging audiences, but then it is made by the Coens, and they probably couldnt give less of a damn. Its a love letter - and a cheeky parody - of 1950s pompous film-making with a ridiculously talented cast and a delightful plot and you should be falling over yourself to see it. Even in February, the quality is as assured as it can be: the Coens dont make bad films, even when they arent entirely on form. Release: Feb 5
