3. Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal is a world-class actor and the DCEU would be extremely lucky to land someone as talented as him for such a controversial role.

Gyllenhaal has proven he can do just about anything and everything over the years, so why not add superhero to that repertoire as well?

How Likely Is It?: Though Gyllenhaal isn't averse to the occasional blockbuster, it's hard to imagine him doing this, especially if his upcoming part in the video game adaptation of The Division is a hit, which would surely spawn a franchise and leave him pretty tied up.

On the flip-side, Gyllenhaal has noted a sure respect for the genre in the past, being a particular fan of Thor, so maybe curiosity will get the better of him. 4/10
