RottenTomatoes Score: 33% (4.7 out of 10) Box Office: While not one of Kevin Hart's better box office openings, the movie has made a decent enough $42.6 million to date against a $23 million budget. There's definitely something to be said for the bromantic chemistry between Josh Gad and Kevin Hart in this movie, but the head-smackingly outlandish premise does it no favours, nor do its clear aspirations to be the next Hitch. The shell scenarios are painfully rote, the interjections of drama are completely tone-deaf, and despite serving up one surprising subversion, the whole endeavour is just rather unpleasant and even a tad icky.
