Verdict: Master documentary filmmaker Kirby Dick serves up a heartbreaking indictment of America's medical device industry, which, shockingly enough, puts profits ahead of stringent product testing and customer health.

Through a number of horrifying stories from men and women permanently afflicted by the industry's corner-cutting, Dick paints a picture of an aspect of the healthcare system in severe need of reform.

It's certainly not for the queasy or faint of stomach, but as a righteously angry call to arms, it packs an effortlessly emotional punch.
