10. Cymbeline

RottenTomatoes Score: 33% (4.4/10 average) Box Office: The fact that finding box office information about the movie appears impossible pretty much says it all. Despite a cast of popular and up-and-coming actors (including Fifty Shades of Grey's Dakota Johnson), Cymbline had a day-and-date VOD release, and though it's evidently a low-budget affair, it won't be making anyone rich. The Verdict: Contemporary Shakespeare adaptations are always a tricky prospect, and this attempt to rework one of The Bard's lesser-loved plays is no exception. Clearly composed on a low budget even though it stars the likes of Milla Jovovich, Ethan Hawke and Ed Harris, Cymbeline is undeniably well-acted, but the core story just doesn't translate very well at all to a modern setting, while the flat direction evokes a frequently snoozy feel. Still, it probably should have had a proper theatrical release given the level of talent involved...
