Verdict: Netflix is basically the perfect home for an Alfre Woodard-starring coming-of-middle-age drama, where her titular protagonist ups sticks and takes a bus to rural Montana to start life anew.

There's virtually nothing surprising about this film, which succeeds almost entirely off the back of Oscar nominee Woodard's excellent performance, and a fairly unconventional, inclusive central romance.

It doesn't really do anything to stick in the mind long, but it's enjoyable enough while you're watching it. Your mum will probably love it, which is all that matters.
