RottenTomatoes Score: 79% (6.3/10) Box Office: The movie has just opened in limited cinemas and on VOD, but it's tough to imagine it rustling up too much business with such a low-key release, even if the budget is evidently pretty small. The Verdict: Computer Chess writer-director Andrew Bujalski makes a confident move to more mainstream fare with this unexpectedly charming romantic comedy. Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders have superb chemistry throughout, and the film also gives the wildly under-appreciated Kevin Corrigan plenty of space to carve out a memorable role for himself. Despite the quirky tone and sometimes flaccid pacing, there's a ton of personal truth in this movie, and that's what makes it soar far above a premise which has been done in variation time and time again.
