12. Sleepless

Box Office: The Jamie Foxx-led remake of 2011's French thriller Sleepless Night has fallen just short of recouping its $30 million budget, even with a U.S. release all the way back in January.

Verdict: A pointless, dispassionate remake just about nobody asked for, Sleepless strands a top-drawer cast in a dour, boilerplate crime thriller totally missing the necessary charm and intrigue.

Scoot McNairy gives easily the best performance in the movie, and the cast at least survives with their dignity in tact for the most part, but it just goes through the motions for the majority of its screen time. Nothing to see here.
