Verdict: A fascinating look at how Jim Carrey pulled off his performance as Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon, arguably his best performance to date, this revealing doc delves deep into the beguiling nature of method acting while also revealing plenty more about Carrey the human being.

With extensive never-before-seen footage from the Man on the Moon set alongside new interviews with Carrey, it's an eye-opening study of meta-performance, one that's by turns fascinating and hilarious.

Even if you've never seen the 1999 film itself, there's remarkable insight into Carrey's process as a former, and it's absolutely transfixing to behold.
