Quite frankly, it's because she doesn't really make all that many films anymore, choosing - instead - to focus on her career as a director. Which is totally fine; she's earned the right to do whatever pleases her. Across the span of Jolie's career, she has proved herself to be a unique and rather brilliant actress. Her best performances are contained within those early years (Girl, Interrupted and Gia, for example), but to deny her tour-de-force portrayal of Maleficent in Disney's recent film of the same name would be criminal (presumably it's the main reason she raked in $15 million). Fact is, Angelina Jolie is a very capable and very skilled actress - and there's a sense that she'll only go from strength to strength with every film she makes from behind the camera.
