11. Kylo's Wayfinder Came From Darth Vader/Mustafar

Remember that blink-and-you'll-miss-it planet from the very beginning of Rise of Skywalker?

Yeah, that was Mustafar, even though JJ and crew changed its aesthetic to suddenly have a foresty look, rather than continuing the lava-spewing rock formations of Episode III and Rogue One.

Point being, that the reason Kylo Ren was on this planet while hunting down a Sith Wayfinder, is because Darth Vader's castle is here - again, as seen in Rogue One.

We know from interviews with Domhnall Gleeson and Richard E Grant that this section was initially larger, with General Hux and Pride accompanying Kylo on the planet, and the Visual Dictionary confirms that Mustafar is the location in question.

It's doubly interesting because this opening could've been a way for Kylo and the generals to revisit what was left of Vader's castle, ultimately connecting the dots as to why this random Wayfinder existed in the first place.

It makes way more sense that Vader would be one of the few individuals in possession of Palpatine's final location, but that part is just speculation.
