Ok, this rumour is 99% unlikely to be true. It's highly unlikely that movie gossip site Hollywood Life have heard exclusively that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to play The Riddler in Batman 3. If it turns out to be true, which to be realistic, is a possibility given Levitt's role in Chris Nolan's Inception and the fact that The Riddler is probably 50/50 (alongside Catwoman) right now to appear in Batman 3 - then it won't be because this site has got the scoop. It's simply because they guessed right. Besides, if the story were true, Mike Fleming at Deadline would have the story as Hollywood Life is a gossip site owned by the same corporation that owns Finke's. I could have equally wrote one of these stories myself for fellow Inception actor Tom Hardy to be The Riddler in Batman 3 - an actor who I think would be better suited for the part, personally. So why I have wrote this story then? Well - I want to see what you guys make of Levitt being The Riddler, and whether you could get behind that casting, as it's certainly a plausible outcome right now.
