20 Most Satisfying Horror Movie Villain Deaths EVER

13. Margaret White - Carrie (1976)

Brian De Palma's brilliant Carrie sees the title character (Sissy Spacek) mete out tremendously gratifying telekinetic revenge to basically everyone who torments her over the course of the film, best of all her monstrously abusive mother, Margaret (Piper Laurie).

A staunch religious fanatic, Margaret physically and mentally tortures her daughter, even locking her in a prayer closet for the "sin" of menstruating, and later denounces her as a witch once her powers manifest.

In the climax, Margaret straight-up attempts to stab Carrie to death, only for her to turn the tables, using her telekinetic abilities to send numerous knives flying into her mother, killing her and pinning her to the wall in religiously symbolic fashion.

Horrifying though it is that Carrie had to end her own mother, considering Margaret's total lack of mothering instinct and general devotion to being a vile zealot, she basically did the world a favour here.
