Film: The Field How he died: Chased by a herd of cows off a cliff An Irish drama that revolves around auctions and the sentimentality behind everything from family to land, Tadhg McCabe (Bean) is the son of Irish farmer, Bull McCabe. Bull has a mental breakdown after he beats a man to death who is trying to outbid him on a piece of land, Bull's land. McCabe starts to lose it when the corpse of Peter (the man who he killed) is discovered. McCabe heards his cattle right to the cliff edge and Tadhg who has been a pretty lousy son up until this point, attempts to stop him. However, tragedy strikes as he is chased by the cows to the edge of the cliff where he falls. It's the most dramatic cow death of all time. Probably.
