7. We Meet Han Solo's Family

The Rumour: The original trilogy kept Han's backstory pretty vague, and so many fans suspected Solo might fill that in, perhaps even introducing audiences to Han's parents in a flashback.

The Truth: There's no flashback and we don't see Han's parents, and the only reference made to Han's childhood is a brief mention of his father while chatting with Lando (Donald Glover).

It's probably for the best, honestly, as a flashback to Han as a child could've backfired horribly, and are many fans really that desperate to meet Han's parents? In a movie that's already struggling to justify its own existence, this would've probably been too much of a muchness.
