10. Beckett Killed Aurra Sing

Another cracking reference for fans of the wider Star Wars universe: upon meeting Beckett, Lando praises him for having killed Aurra Sing, who he apparently owed quite the debt to. Beckett later mentions that, though he pushed her to her death, "it was the fall that killed her."

Who is Aurra Sing, though? Well, she was briefly shown watching a podrace during The Phantom Menace, and quickly picked up a significant fan following after appearing in The Clone Wars as a bounty hunter who becomes a mentor to Boba Fett.

Fans will likely be a mix of overjoyed and heartbroken at learning Sing's fate, but either way it's a terrific piece of character shading for Beckett.
