8. Denbigh Is Working For SPECTRE
The Theory
Andrew Scotts government official Max Denbigh is actually a mole thats working for SPECTRE and supplying them with information.
Why It Could Work
Take one look at Andrew Scott in the film and try and say he doesn't look evil. Best known for playing Moriarty on Sherlock, he has a knack for playing bad guys.
Everything in the official releases would suggest so as well, with the few brief glimpses of Denbigh consisting of him physically fighting with M and staring devilishly into the camera.
As a government official, hed have access to lots of information, much of which could be valuable to Spectre and explain how theyre staying ahead of MI6. It would add both credibility to their evil empire and a layer of depth to Denbigh.
Some have gone so far as to suggest that Denbigh is really Blofeld, but it seems like hes being established as too minor a character for that to pan out.
