5. Spider-Man Might Meet Miles Morales In Future
The Rumour
Even before recent comments from Tom Holland on how much he'd like to see his Peter Parker mentoring Ultimate universe hero Miles Morales as a legacy Spider-Man, there's been lots of talk of the possibility of Spidey meeting his alternate - possibly to spin-off into Sony's Spidey universe.
While it might not specifically happen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the seeds are definitely there.

Interestingly, of course, the presence of The Prowler in the film - who is his uncle in the comics - gives Marvel an opportunity to bring Miles in. This sort of back-door seeding would be an incredibly clever way of making both the MCU and Sony's universe feel legitimately "lived in".
And anything that leads to Morales' live action debut can't be anything but a good thing.
