After being invited to a party at Liz's house, Peter decides to appear as Spider-Man to try and improve the street cred of himself and Ned after the latter revealed Peter and Spidey are friends. It doesn't go to plan as Spidey's entrance is interrupted by an explosion that marks Brice's testing of weapons to show a client.

Peter races to chase Brice's van full of weapons after a confrontation, vaulting through gardens, encountering kids in a tent, a man barbecuing and telling him his food "smells delicious". It's a pretty faithful redo of this scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off...

As Spidey runs through one garden, we actually see that exact scene on a TV screen.
