Miles Morales is getting the big screen treatment this year with the animated Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, and now there's a new trailer to show the character in all his web-slinging glory.

The live-action version of Spider-Man may be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but based on what we see here that's not too much of a problem for Sony. Into The Spider-Verse will bring together Peter Parker's version of the character with Miles', and a few others too.

This trailer puts the focus on the beginnings of Miles (Shameik Moore)'s career as a web-head, showing him meeting Peter (who is voiced to perfection as a deadbeat version of the character by Jake Johnson), while struggling with his embarrassing police officer father (voiced by Atlanta's Brian Tyree Henry).

The new footage also gives us a much better look at the animation style, which is blending computer animation with more traditional hand-drawn comic book style, giving it a unique and completely gorgeous look. There are also some teases of classic Spidey villains like Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) and Green Goblin, and that big reveal of Gwen Stacey (Hailee Steinfeld) right at the end.
