Spider-Man: No Way Home - 10 Darkest Moments

10. Venom

The Spider-Man: No Way Home post-credits scene is essentially a sequel to the Venom: Let There Be Carnage post-credits scene from earlier this year. In that film, Eddie Brock and Venom, while lying in bed watching TV on vacation, talk about Venom's infinite knowledge. Venom flexes that knowledge for Eddie, just as Doctor Strange's spell gets loose, transporting Venom (who knew that Peter Parker is Spider-Man) to the MCU.

The scene in No Way Home features a drunk Eddie getting an MCU history lesson from a frustrated bartender, played by Cristo Fernández, aka Dani Rojas from Ted Lasso. Fernández's character tries to be patient with Eddie, explaining the likes of Iron Man, Hulk, and Thanos to him. However, when Eddie and Venom return to their universe, a tiny splotch of the symbiote is left behind.

Knowing what havoc this symbiote has wrecked on Peter Parker's life makes this an ominous final sequence for the film. In Spider-Man 3, as well as countless comics and cartoons, it brought out Peter's darker side, so knowing it's just around the corner can't bode well for Tom Holland's Spider-Man.
