Spider-Man: No Way Home - 8 Villains Who Could Join The MCU's Sinister Six
8. Mr. Negative
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has put itself in a position with No Way Home where it can reach into any of seven previous movies, across three separate Spider-Man franchises for its villains. However, that doesn’t mean that there can’t be an original bad guy in there that has never been adapted for the silver screen before.
There is an ocean of Spidey villains that have yet to be brought to the big screen, and there is one moment in the No Way Home trailer that suggests the appearance of a very specific bad guy in the shape of Mr. Negative.
The shot that shows Peter running in his new black and gold suit appears to take place at F.E.A.S.T, the homeless shelter where Aunt May volunteers. This is run by Martin Li, a big player in New York's criminal underworld who uses the shelter as a front for his ties to the world of organized crime.
Thanks to his exposure to a particular drug he was smuggling, Li developed powers that he subsequently used to become Chinatown’s kingpin. A man of such power and stature would be a no-brainer for recruitment into the Sinister Six - with him also recently one of the main villains in Sony's 2018 Spider-Man video game.
